2016 Community Crime Awareness

Description: The 16th Annual Community Crime Awareness Day organized by Mississauga Chinese Business Association in partnership with Peel Regional Police, Rogers TV and Safe City Mississauga was held on September 24 at Mississauga Celebration Square. It brought together citizens to learn about safety and policing issues and celebrated cultural diversity. There were many cultural performances on stage such as the Chinese lion and dragon dance, a Taekwondo demonstration, Irish and Polish cultural dances, guitar and singing, children's dances and more. There were over 60 exhibits for attendees to browse along with a fire engine from the fire department. Thousands came out to take part!
