Description: Meadowvale's new and improved Community Centre and Library celebrated their Official Grand Re-Opening on October 22. Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Former Mayor Hazel McCallion, MPP Bob Delaney, Vice Chair of Mississauga Library Board members, Raj Chopra and many more council members and special guests were present at the event. The event began with the entrance of 1st and 3rd Meadowvale West Scout groups who led the group into the national anthem. It was followed by a blessing ritual performed by Gary Sault, an Aboriginal Elder. VIPs, council members and special guests shared speeches before the official ribbon and cake cutting ceremony. It was a day full of fun events including a BBQ, fitness demos, games and many more activities for all ages.
