Ontario Summer Games Media Day

Description: Ontario Summer Games is one of the largest multi-sport events to be hosted in Mississauga - with sport competitions happening at 16 venues around the city and 3,400 amateur athletes competing for gold. Media reps were invited to get a taste of the 34 sports that will be part of the games this year at a recent Media Day event. Ward 4 Councillor John Kovac, Ward 3 Councillor Chris Fonesca, General Manager of OSG, Clara Grassia and Shari Lichterman, Director of Recreation at City of Mississauga were present and addressed the media. Athletes and coaches created lots of excitement as they demonstrated their respective sports.
